 House mouseThe house mouse is spread on a large scale. Its colour is greyish-black. The mouse is a small-sized rodent, it is lighter than rats and it weighs 10 - 20 grams. It reaches a length of 6 – 10 centimetres. It is an excellent climber. It likes collecting and laying in food supplies, searching for food up to 16 times per day. Due to its early sexual maturity, it breeds extremely fast, giving birth to up to 10 offsprings per year. Its life lasts about a year. It is most frequently found in buildings and in the field.
