Flies
There are approximately 70 known families of flies. They are widely distributed throughout the globe. A characteristic feature in flies' way of feeding is the frequent change of the food source, and thus they transfer more than 40 pathogenic agents, which cause chiefly enteric infections and most of all, dysentery. For food and place of reproduction flies use decomposing organic materials of vegetable or animal origin, which are most often due to the daily activity of humans.
According to their habitat flies can be divided into:
- synanthropes - closely related to human life;
- synbovile flies - related to humans and domestic animals;
- exanthropic - distributed in nature;
